How to Upload an Image

Images can be uploaded and linked to people and properties. If the image contains people you can identify and link, the people's names MUST BE ENTERED INTO THE DATABASE FIRST. Click HERE to add a PERSON to the database.

1. Log in to the website. Only registered and approved users can add or edit information in the database.
2. Click on the "Add Image" link under "Volunteer Quick Links" on the left side of the screen.
3. Enter a descriptive title
4. Select the applicable Image Galleries. An image does NOT have to be in an image gallery. Multiple galleries can be selected by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking on the gallery names.
5. Enter any information you have about the photo in the "Body" field
6. Click "Choose File" and navigate to the location of the image file on your local computer hard drive.
7. Enter any Building or People References in the photo. These two fields reference other EXISTING nodes. To link people and properties to your image, start typing in the appropriate field. Matching nodes will be listed below the field as you type. Select the one you want to link. Click the "Add Another Item" button below the field to add more links.
8. Click Save. Your image is NOT uploaded until you click "Save".
